On the dunes of Marina di Ravenna, ten years ago, he held out his hand and said: «Nice to meet you, I'm Nicola».
His name wasn't Nicola. It was Mirko, and he knew it perfectly well. But a fake name was a good way to be remembered — and indeed, she never forgot him.
From a light-hearted meeting that began with a joke, they grew up together: two kids on the sand who became a home, a life, an *us*.
At Villa Abbondanzi in Faenza, with the park's flamingos as silent witnesses and their friends all around making noise, Federica spoke the words that will outlast the day:
